Boston United Community FC

Boston United Community Football Club (BUCFC) is an FA Charter Standard Community Club and forms part of Boston United’s football development pathway. BUCFC provides opportunities to both children and adults to play football, whatever their circumstance or ability.

The community football club has over 17 teams from Under 7 to Under 18 as well as adult walking football teams and pan-disability teams. Our Adult Disability Team have previously been the FA Northern Area Final winnersand participated in the final of the first ever FA Disability Cup final finishing as runners up.

We currently have over 200 players registered to play for the community football club, with teams training during the week and participating in a variety of leagues over the weekend, including the Mid Lincs League, Peterborough Junior Alliance League and Linkage Ability Counts League.

Over the years, BUCFC and their teams have received a variety of accolades, which is a fitting testament to the coaches for their hard work and dedication to develop and coach young players and help make grassroots football prosper. To name a few, last season (2016-17) our Under 12 won the Hereward Cup, and the Under 10 reached the Hereward Cup final. Our Under 7s also won the Tom Barber Cup, a fantastic achievement for a newly formed age group.

Players also get free match day tickets to watch Boston United first team games, a dream come true for many young fans who love watching their local team play football.

The Boston United Community Football Club Vision and Aim

The Boston United Community Football Club vision and aim is to bring together people of all ages and abilities to play and enjoy football. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to play regardless of age, ability or gender. With this in mind, we created the Boston United Community Football Club to provide the opportunity for everyone to play football and take part.

We endeavor to provide a positive environment based on mutual respect rather than win at all costs attitude. Our programme is designed to instill good sportsmanship, whilst encouragement of player effort provides for greater enjoyment by the players and ultimately leads to better skilled and better-motivated players.
