Realise your football potential with Boston United

15th March 2018

We’re looking to recruit talented male football players who will be in the Under 17 to Under 19 age groups next season 2018/19 for our Youth Squads.

We provide a fantastic opportunity for local players to progress their football careers and education. Our full time football and education package is FREE for 16 to 19 year olds, and enables players to play and train together and maximise their potential.

We also provide a route for players who have been released by professional clubs and have not been offered scholarships or professional contracts, but who still have the ambition and determination to progress their football career.

At Boston United we want young players who have the determination, ambition and aspiration to progress in football. We provide the right environment to develop players and their ability, fitness and technique whilst we help them excel and further their education. Our comprehensive Football and Education package includes:

-Full time, daily football training:a minimum of 10 hours weekly training delivered by fully qualified coaches.
-Weekly competitive fixtures.
-Full pre-season / season training and nutritional programme.
-Pre-season team building trips.
-Strength & conditioning and fitness training.
-Facilities: grass and 3G pitches, as well as changing room facilities.
-Onsite fitness area, kitchen, chill-out area with TV and Music, free pool table and table tennis.
-Great education package:you will study with Boston United Sports College, where we offer a variety of BTEC Sports Courses and a Higher National Diploma.
-Maths and English GCSE / Functional Skills.
-Gain coaching qualifications and real Work Experience within the Sports Industry.
-Pathway to Boston United first team – we have signed several youth players to the first team as well as signing a youth squad player to Premier League club, Swansea City.

Advanced youth players will represent Boston United in the National League U19 Youth Alliance League and Cup Competitions alongside the prestigious FA Youth Cup, whilst our development teams will compete in college-level leagues.

Following their studies with us, student players have a variety of options – as well as helping them make strides towards joining Boston United’s first team and professional football, student players can also go on to higher education at university or scholarships abroad. We offer fully recognised qualifications, so players can pursue a career in the Sports Industry or include them in their UCAS applications for university.
