Walking football friendly in Louth

One of our walking football teams played a friendly against Louth on 20th August. A fairly new team, they have a 30 to 80 years’ age group so this put us against a fresh new challenge as we are mainly over 50s.

2nd Walking Football Tournament

We are hosting our 2nd annual Over 50’s Walking Football tournament on Saturday 13th May 2017. The tournament is being held on grass at Boston United’s The Jakemans Stadium at York Street.

Football Conference Trust

£60k cheque for Active Pilgrims

8th March 2016

United in the Community welcomed Lord Faulkner of Worcester, Trustee of the Football Conference Trust on Saturday 27th February at the Boston United fixture against Worcester City, where Lord Faulkner presented a cheque for £60,000 at half time on the pitch to Mike Hardy BUFC Chief Executive, Neil Kempster Vice Chairman and Nick Reeson Community Manager, along with participants who have benefitted from the Active Pilgrims project’s range of sporting activities.
