BUFCCF announced as ‘Outstanding Service to Sport & Physical Activity’ Finalist

28 September 2023

We are delighted to announce that Boston United Community Foundation has been named a finalist in the Outstanding Service to Sport & Physical Activity category for the Lincolnshire Sport & Physical Activity Awards 2023.

This is a fantastic accolade for our sports charity and we are incredibly proud as this year, Active Lincolnshire received the largest number of nominations to date.

Judges were particularly interested in diverse projects, activities and achievements that reveal inspirational work and moving personal stories, as well as those who are committed and dedicated to supporting people in Lincolnshire to be active.

We are incredibly proud of the diverse work we do in our local communities to help people be active, and to be recognised for the outstanding work our coaches carry out day to day is amazing.

There are eleven categories at the awards in total, with three finalises for each. Boston United Community Foundation has been named a finalist alongside Mrs Ghada Mohamed from the Lincoln Muslim Sister Forum, and Paul Fowler from 100% Swimming.

Winners for each category will be announced on the awards celebration evening on Thursday 9 November so we will release an update following the evening.
