Football Development Sessions in Horncastle

United in the Community is pleased to announce that its successful Football Development programme will be extending its activities to the Horncastle area in December. Our extensive programme is for both boys and girls aged 3 upwards and is delivered by UEFA and FA qualified coaches with a wealth of experience of working within football development.
We will be staging a range of introductory sessions in December at only £1 for each session. Our Horncastle Programme includes:
Mega Tiny Pilgrims – Boys and Girls 3 & 4 Years
Mighty Tiny Pilgrims – Boys and Girls 5 -7 Years
Futsal – Boys and Girls 7-15 Years
Player Development Centre
Futsal Sessions (ages 7-15)
Futsal is an exciting, fast paced five a side game played on a flat indoor pitch with hockey sized goals and a size 4 ball to reduce bounce. Delivered by qualified coaches, this session is designed to introduce the game of Futsal to children who would like to enjoy a different footballing experience.
Day: Thursdays
For: Boys and girls
Venue: Indoors at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School (QEGS) in Horncastle, LN9 5AD
Time: 6pm – 7pm (7 to 11 Years) / 7pm – 8pm (12 to 15 years)
Price: £3.50 per session
What to bring: Suitable Indoor Clothing and Footwear, Shin pads and a drink
Player Development Centre
Specialist coaching sessions are based around professional standards of the pitch, whilst also developing technically with the ball on the pitch. As part of our PDC players can enjoy a range of master classes during selected school holidays and participate in a range of educational workshops in which parents are most welcome to attend too!
Day: Fridays
Timings: 5:30pm – 6:30pm (U6 & U7 Boys)
6:30pm – 7:30pm (U8 & U9 Boys)
7:30pm – 8:30pm (U10 & U11 Boys)

Price: £20 per month

Tiny Pilgrims (ages 3-4)
Our Mega Tiny Pilgrims session is a fun introduction to football for children aged 3-4. We teach children fundamental football skills by using ‘guided learning’; all our games are fun and have a story the children can get into.
Day: Saturday mornings
For: Boys and Girls aged 3 & 4 years
Venue: Indoors at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School (QEGS) in Horncastle, LN9 5AD
Time: 9am – 10am
Price: £3.50 per session
What to bring: Suitable Indoor Clothing and Footwear, Shin pads and a drink
Tiny Pilgrims (ages 5-7)
Our Mighty Tiny Pilgrims is for children aged 5-7; these sessions are fun with an emphasis on learning skills that will help them develop into good players. All our games involve the children having a ball each or 1 ball between a small group so they not only get maximum touches on the ball but also have more fun because they feel involved in the session. Our coaches are also expert story tellers who can capture the imagination of children with the way they explain how to play each game.
