Exercise for new mums

United in the Community’s Active Pilgrims project, which is supported by the Football Conference Trust, are offering a variety of exciting free sport sessions to people living in the Borough of Boston through their Active Pilgrims project.

The aim of the project is to provide local people the opportunity to keep fit and active with a range of affordable exercise and fitness classes, tuition and advice as well as teaching the importance of keeping fit and active.

The programme includes Jogging and Cycling groups, Badminton and Golf tuition, Futsal, exercise classes for mothers and children, and Keep Moving exercise classes for over 50’s – all free for the first 8 sessions!

United in the Community also offer free 8-week introductory sessions for a range of sports including new age kurling, basketball, keeping fit, table tennis and rounders. Their current Introduction to Sport sessions are Netball at Boston Grammar School on Mondays 6.30pm to 8pm until 27th April, New Age Kurling at Old Leake Community Centre on Tuesdays 6.30pm to 8pm from 17th March for 6 weeks, and Golf at Kirton Middlecott Sports and Fitness Centre on Sundays 9am to 10.30am.
