FSF – Community Award nomination
1st November 2018
Boston United and the club’s Community Foundation are excited to announce they have been nominated for a Football Supporters’ Federation award.
The Pilgrims’ community programme Boston United Community Foundation have been short-listed for The National Game Community Award alongside five other clubs, including National League North rivals Altrincham and Curzon Ashton.
The award is brand new for this year and aims to showcase the community outreach work undertaken by non-league football clubs. The award will acknowledge best practice and innovation and will particularly recognise those clubs that involve supporters and community delivery partners to make a positive impact in their local community.
A total of 16 accolades are up-for-grabs across a variety of categories — with the Pilgrims featuring in one of six awards which will be determined by the FSF panel rather than a public vote. Further details on the FSF Awards are available here. The awards evening will take place on December 3rd 2018, so we will keep our fans and readers posted on the results when they are announced!
