U19 player called up for International Training Camp

6 May 2022

We are immensely proud to announce that Boston United U19 youth player Han Stevens has been invited to attend an International training camp with the Gibraltar U19s.

Han has done very well over the season; to be invited to an international training camp as a first year with Boston United shows the ability he has, and it’s great to see his hard work and ethic being rewarded.

He now has the task of trying to break into the U19 National team squad, which would be great for Han considering he has only just turned 17 years old.

Overall this invitation is a fantastic achievement and speaks volumes of Han’s attitude and ability, and we wish him the best of luck and hope he enjoys this opportunity!

BUFC expand Girls football teams offering

28 April 2022

Boston United is pleased to announce the expansion of its female football teams and will field eight dedicated girls’ teams for the 2022/23 season!

Through the success of its Wildcats programme and recent girls’ football open days, the club are actively seeking players wanting to represent Boston United’s girls’ teams next season in the following age groups:

  • U7 / U8 / U9 / U10 / U11 / U12 / U13 / U15

The club will deliver the girls’ technical programme under the same methodology, framework and frequency as all other participants of Boston United’s grassroots teams. The club will integrate these new girls’ teams into the existing football structure and sit in both the Foundation and Youth Development phases.

We are also a Coerver® Partner Club – a total Club Development Programme powered by the World’s Number One soccer skills teaching method. Coerver® Partner Club is a globally respected, locally exclusive mark of quality.

The club have seen recent success with their Under 12 Girls team who were named Lincolnshire FA County Cup Champions.

What is delivered?

The programme involves one night per week of training on the 3G at the Jakemans Community Stadium and a weekend fixture programme across the season. All new girls’ teams will play in the Lincolnshire Women & Girls Football League on Saturday mornings.

How do I get involved?

We are actively seeking players and coaches for the above-named age groups. It is not too late to get involved – if your child is interested in representing Boston United next season, please email with your child’s name, age, and date of birth.

Coaches Wanted

We are looking for volunteers to coach and support various age groups in the girls’ football sections within the club.

This is an excellent opportunity for coaches looking for further experience or to gain a coaching qualification with the club’s support and an excellent CPD programme delivered by our UEFA qualified coaching team.

We have opportunities for Head Coaches and/or Assistant Coaches in the above age groups.

Ideally, we are looking for coaches with minimum FA Level 1 coaching qualifications. However, if you haven’t got this, we will help you obtain your Level 1 and safeguarding and first aid.

As a Boston United coach, you will receive expert coach education, age-specific team training, access to a web-based skill learning platform and much more within our programme.

If you are interested in coaching one of the above age groups at Boston United next season, please email to register your interest.
