Our Golden Goal Participants had a brilliant morning despite the poor weather!

23 February 2022

The project has enjoyed some great sessions over the last couple of weeks, including a quiz, basketball, french cricket, badminton, archery and throw and catch with the rebounder.

The Golden Goal project is an exciting new project to combat loneliness and inactivity to anyone aged 55+. The project is funded by the National League Trust, where all activities are chosen by the participants.

It’s is a great opportunity to meet new people, socialise, make new friendships and take part in things that you enjoy!

Light refreshments are included, with Golden Goal get togethers taking place on the following days and times:

  • Tuesdays: 12.30pm to 2:30pm
  • Thursdays 10:00am to 12:00pm

Its only £3 per session and your first month of sessions are free of charge.

Sessions are held at Kabia’s Lounge Bar, The Jakemans Community Stadium, Pilgrim Way, PE21 7NE
