Pilgrim Goalz test their CSI skills
9 February 2016
Young participants at our Pilgrim Goalz youth club, which is based at Focus One Youth Centre in Boston, recently took part in a CSI Workshop with local PCSO’s on 28th January which they really enjoyed and had lots of fun attending!
The local PCSO set up a CSI crime scene and asked participants to investigate, and solve the crime. They also had a go a finger printing, and learnt the three different types of fingerprints which they found really interesting. We’d like to thank PCSO’s Naomi and Nastasha for leading this workshop.
Young people who attend our youth club have also just finished week 3 of a 6-week Street Dance programme, run by Dance Factor UK, with a performance being made at the Embassy Theatre in Skegness on 27th February along with other street dance troupes. Thanks to Becky, the dance instructor who is doing amazing things to get them all engaged and taking part.
Our Pilgrims Goalz youth night in school term time runs every Monday, Thursday and Friday 6pm to 8pm, and costs just £1 to attend per night. We also have our Pilgrims Goalz February Holiday club coming up – with a trip to Ancaster Leisure to play lazer tag organized for the Friday. The holiday club is running on Monday 15th February, Thursday 18th February and Friday 19th February. Each day runs from 10am-3pm and is £5 per day.
If you’d like to attend, please contact Lewis Wright on (01205) 311655 or email lewis.wright@bufc.co.uk. Booking for the Friday trip is essential so be quick before they book up!
