Fundraising with schools

We always try to help local schools to raise money for new equipment and for charity – and this is your chance to join in the fun!

Participants receive:

  • Certificate of Achievement

  • Trophy for the highest scoring individuals in each year group

  • Highest sponsorship in the school also receives a signed Boston United Football Club first team replica shirt of their choice

  • Extra prizes can be added if more money is raised.

All these prizes will be presented in a presentation assembly where the school will also receive a cheque from us for the amount of money raised. The local paper will also be asked to give coverage of the school’s achievements.

The competition enables each child to take 5 or 10 penalties (depending on age) against our mascot, Percy the Penguin. The more penalties they score, the more money they make for your school and a charity of the school’s choice. Each class will be given a time slot so the day runs smoothly ensuring the children only miss thirty minutes lesson time at most.

The competition can involve the whole school or just selected year groups of the school’s choice. We will hold an assembly explaining the rules and more importantly advising children how to gain their sponsors. All administration is also completed by us.

Target Goal challenge

We also have the Target Goal Challenge! This runs in the same way as the penalty shoot-out but each child takes 5 shots at the target goal and tries to get as many points in the number of shots.

Each child receives a certificate with their highest score and various prizes can be handed out along with the big cheque for your school in an assembly.

Fun days and Summer Galas

We can also come along and help at School fun days or Summer Galas. We can run competitions, and help assist with presentations at the event. We are also open to getting involved in other capacities that would aid in helping the school generate some extra cash.
