National League Grassroots Football Project

Boston United Community Foundation in conjunction with the National League Trust looks to deliver the grassroots funded project to children of all ages in the local community.

The fund from the National League Trust allows us to engage with new participants and expand participation opportunities both playing and coaching within our community football club pathway.

We will provide a range of football coaching sessions for people in primary and secondary school settings delivered by qualified and experienced coaches across the Boston and surrounding areas, the sessions will aim to raise physical activity levels in the local community.

Schools will get a minimum 6 week football coaching sessions, delivered by our highly qualified coaches at Boston United absolutely FREE.

In addition to that there are extra opportunities for those in a secondary school setting to undertake the FA Playmaker award or the FA Lionesses award aimed at 14+ year old’s and for those looking at next steps into coaching or the sport sector.

We provide volunteer and work experience opportunities to work in our Community Football club, we also put those people through an FA Introduction to football qualification and other relevant training/certificates that is required to be a coach.

If you are at a primary/secondary school or are thinking about a future in coaching and would like to take this offer up then please contact community@bufc.co.uk or call (01205) 364406 for further information.
