As part of our talent pathway for female players, we are excited to announce a full-time, 16-19 football and education programme for female players.

Female players, who may currently be School Years 11-13, will train and play fixtures and will have the opportunity of joining and strengthening our Women’s Team.

Academically players can study a range of courses form Level 2 and Level 3 Sport or Business, Personal Training and HE degrees in Sport or Business.

This exciting new venture will add to the existing programme run for our male youth teams and will involve a training programme, an exciting games programme – running parallel to our outstanding education provision run through partners SCL and Loughborough College.

Of the development, Head of Football, Ray Power, said: “This is something I am really excited about. We have an opportunity to build a programme from the ground up. It is our intent – from the very beginning – to source, train, educate and develop the very best female players within travelling distance from Boston, whilst continuing their education. Up until now, top level teenage players would have to travel for high-level training and games at big clubs. Now they won’t have to”.
