(Volunteer) Academy Performance Analyst

Location: Off-Site (Primarily)

Volunteer role
Reports to: Head of Football Development, Deputy Head of Football Development, & Head of Academy Analysis
Role purpose:
To be responsible for completing performance analysis at Boston United Football Club. Available roles range from the U13-U23 age groups and first team opportunities

  • To provide direct tailored performance analysis support for the academy age groups and staff at the football club

  • Use our Hudl cameras and software to record, observe, and report on matches played by the academy and first team

  • Analyse our own team’s performances using video clips, written reports, and data to enhance player development

  • Track performance data and match statistics as required by coaches

  • Mange and track data provided by our external data analysis provider

  • Create opposition analysis reports on Boston’s opponents

  • Support filming and coding of training

  • Any other duties as requested by the line manager, programme leads and senior leadership team.
