Why I Chose the Programme
I decided to join the programme because I wanted to experience a different style of education from the traditional school environment. The combination of football and academic learning really appealed to me, as it gave me the opportunity to continue developing both my football ability and my qualifications at the same time.
One of the things I enjoyed most was the relaxed learning environment and being surrounded by people who shared similar interests and ambitions. It created a positive atmosphere where I felt motivated to learn and improve both on and off the pitch.
The programme also helped me become more independent by giving me the responsibility of managing my own time around scheduled lessons, training sessions, and coursework. This balance has prepared me well for future opportunities while allowing me to grow both personally and professionally.
Skills I have developed
Throughout the programme, I have developed valuable skills that have helped me grow both academically and personally. My confidence, communication, and teamwork have improved significantly, not only in the classroom but also on the football pitch.
One of my biggest achievements has been becoming more confident speaking in front of larger groups. Through business pitches and presentations, I was able to step outside of my comfort zone and develop my public speaking skills, which has been a huge boost to my confidence.
The programme has also strengthened my leadership and organisational skills. Balancing training, lessons, and coursework taught me how to manage my time effectively while taking greater responsibility for my own development. As a result, I have learned to maintain high standards across both my academic studies and football, preparing me well for future opportunities.
