SIBSEY PRIMARY SCHOOL - SOCIAL ACTION PROJECT
The Premier League Primary Stars Social Action Project is all about giving young people the opportunity to make a real difference in their communities. The programme encourages primary school pupils aged 5–11 to identify local issues, research the needs of those around them, and deliver a project that creates positive change.
Over the course of this term, Jaydon and Kelky had the pleasure of working alongside our partner school, Sibsey Free Primary School, on an exciting Social Action Project focused on transforming their outdoor learning and Forest School area.
The children took part in every stage of the project, from the initial planning and design process through to the hands-on work of renovating and developing the space. It was fantastic to see every pupil getting involved, working together as a team and taking pride in creating something so special. Their hard work has left a lasting legacy that will be enjoyed by future pupils for years to come.
The project was proudly showcased during the Year 6 Leavers' Breakfast, where parents had the opportunity to see the incredible work the pupils had completed. It was a fantastic way to celebrate the children's achievements and highlight the positive impact they have made on their school community.
A huge thank you to Mrs Lomas and Mr Wiles from Sibsey Free Primary School. Without the extra time, effort and dedication they put into this project behind the scenes, it simply would not have been possible. Their commitment to providing the best opportunities for the children has helped create an amazing outdoor learning environment that will benefit the school for many years to come.
We would also like to thank all of the pupils, staff, parents and volunteers who supported the project along the way. It has been a pleasure working in partnership with Sibsey Free Primary School, and we're already looking forward to working together again next year on another exciting project!
