Ten U23s Feature in the first pre-season friendly against Championship Lincoln City

The club's commitment to developing young talent was on full display as several Under-23 players were involved in the first-team matchday squad for the visit of Championship side Lincoln City in their first pre-season friendly.

Among those involved were Barker, Aaron, Fogg, Parraria, Houlston, Warburton, Ging, Brooks, Clayton and Peters, highlighting the exciting pathway from the academy into senior football.

For many of the players, inclusion in the matchday squad marks another significant milestone in their development. Their dedication, professionalism and consistent performances have been rewarded with the opportunity to experience a first-team matchday.

The occasion also underlines the club's ongoing philosophy of investing in young talent, ensuring young players are given opportunities to develop within the senior environment while learning from the first-team coaching staff.
