U13s vs Liverpool Academy (30.8.26)

U13s Enjoy Unforgettable Experience at Liverpool’s AXA Training Centre

On Sunday 30th August, our U13s made the long journey across to Liverpool for a fantastic opportunity to play against Liverpool FC’s Academy at the world-class AXA Training Centre.

It was an experience the players, coaches and staff will remember for a long time.

From the moment the team arrived, the players were able to experience what it is like inside a Premier League academy environment. The lads got changed in the academy centre, using the Ian Rush changing room, before heading out to the pitches for what promised to be a memorable day.

The players had the opportunity to play on the pitch right next to the main AXA Training Centre, providing an incredible backdrop for a fantastic footballing experience.

On the pitch, our U13s were excellent. They showed tremendous effort, attitude and quality throughout the game, showcasing the exciting young talent that we have developing within the Boston United Academy.

Playing against a Premier League Category 1 Academy provided a brilliant challenge for our players and gave them the opportunity to test themselves against one of the country's leading academy programmes.

We would like to place on record our thanks to Liverpool FC Academy for their fantastic hospitality and for giving our players this incredible opportunity. Experiences like this are invaluable to the development of our young players and are something they will remember for years to come.

A huge well done to all of our U13 players and staff for representing Boston United Academy so brilliantly. 👏
